The Marion Natural History Museum's Coastal Exploration summer program had a guest speaker from the Department of Fisheries and Wildlife in anticipation of our trip to Bird Island next week. We received some background on the importance of our local nesting sites, and learned how to weigh "tern" eggs and baby tern chicks.
