Cafe Parlez will be discussing The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie on Monday, November 28, 2011 6:30 pm. This book, which was slated to be taught to Old Rochester Regional eighth graders but later pulled, elicited discussion among junior high parents, some who supported the school's decision to teach the book, some who thought it was too mature for their children.
