Margaret A. (Hodgson) Nye, 99, of Marion, died Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at her home. She was the wife of Harold F. Nye.
Born in North Adams, she was the daughter of the late Reginald & Edith Alice (Gardner) Hodgson. A previous resident of Newport, RI, she has lived in Marion since 1946.
Mrs. Nye was a member of St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church in Marion. A homemaker, she enjoyed knitting, sewing and baking.
Survivors include her daughter, Dianne Kelly of Marion; her son, Donald E. Nye of Philadelphia, PA; 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Evergreen Cemetery, Converse Rd., Marion at 10:00 a.m.
