Mattapoisett Ferry?640 viewsResident Laurie Nunes offered this creative solution to the roadwork being done on Mattapoisett Neck Road with her artistic rendition of two vehicle ferries — aptly named Seahorse I and Seahorse II — which could provide that elusive “alternate route” to Mattapoisett Neck from the Town Wharf. Plumb Corner Halloween389 viewsRain didn't stop a few brave trick or treaters from coming to the October 24 Plumb Corner Halloween celebration. Businesses at Plumb Corner provided candy and shelter from the rain. A tent in the Plumb Corner field held a ghoulishly good time, with a devilish D.J. and Halloween-themed music. Little Neck Expansion888 viewsThis is a conceptual drawing for the proposed expansion of Marion's Little Neck Village senior housing complex. Yee Haw, Maw!502 viewsRochester’s Country Fair was a great success despite the cancellation of the Town Ball Game, Woodsman Show, the Block dance and the Bonfire due to EEE. The weather was perfect on Saturday as children raced frogs, climbed walls, bounced in castles and much more. Although the weather was less than perfect on Sunday, residents lined the streets with lawn chairs and umbrellas to watch as the Hillbilly themed parade passed. Photos by Felix Perez.
