Yoga for Youth573 viewsStudents at Sippican School in Marion enjoy the benefits of yoga classes which have been sponsored at the school by the non-profit Yoga Kids, Inc. for the past six years. Teachers have noted marked improvement in students who take yoga classes as it helps them to better concentrate in class. Wanderer Model776 viewsThis intricately detailed model of the whaling bark Wanderer was built by David Barker and Neale Birdsall, both of Marion, and was commissioned by Mr. Barker for his private maritime collection. Mr. Barker has maintained a lifelong fascination with the whaling ship which dates back to his father’s finding artifacts from the historic vessel floating in the water just after it was destroyed on the rocks off Cuttyhunk Island in 1924.
