Clean Fun441 viewsMarion residents hit the street to pick up trash around town on Saturday, May 15. All over Marion, there were people in day-glo vests working with “Manducas”, long pincers made by Marion resident Eunice Manduca for picking up trash. Celebrating Freedom428 viewsDespite funding setbacks, the Marion fireworks took place this year at Silver Shell Beach under perfectly clear skies. Revelers enjoyed the patriotic music of Phil Sanborn and the Marion Concert Band while brilliant colors illuminated the harbor. Unless the town can secure a permanent source of funding, next year’s fireworks may be in jeopardy. Photo by Felix Perez.11111

Fun at the Fair562 viewsIt was fun in the August sun at the 2009 Rochester Country Fair. Plumb Corner was transformed into the ultimate fairground, with lots of craft and food vendors, and fun activities. Fair-goers enjoyed a scarecrow contest, a tractor-pull, a frog jumping contest, a children's parade, and so much more. Buck-Chuck and The Wanderer Aardvark were there!
