05-09-02898 viewsAfter a year and a half of sponsoring our “Wandering Wanderers” photo submission contest, Fairhaven’s Walter F. Tyz has to take the prize for most clever submission. Mr. Tyz sent this photo along with a note stating “I got a passport and motored all the way to Mattapoisett with my copy of The Wanderer (and) posed in front of the edifice and adjacent areas of that exotic location.” Yes, here he is standing in front of our office on County Road in Mattapoisett. Oddly enough, it’s the last place we think of in terms of ideal “vacation spots,” but to each his own. (Photo courtesy of Walter Tyz). 5/9/02 edition55555
