Christmas Holiday Shop351 viewsSt. Anthony’s and St. Rita’s parishioners combined efforts to give the community a Christmas Holiday Shop and Celebration on Saturday, December 5, 2009. The basement of St. Anthony’s church was decked out in snowflakes, wreaths, bells, bows, and a Santa sleigh. Santa listened patiently as children told him what they wanted for Christmas. Gifts To Give351 viewsOn Saturday, September 11, approximately 40 children from Marion Pack 32 Boy, Cub and Girl Scout troops, along with a dozen parents, met at New Bedford’s Gifts To Give to lend a hand to a worthy cause. Gifts to Give, located on Cove Street in New Bedford, is a non-profit agency that helps connect children and families to services that they need.
