Family Fun Festival 377 viewsFamilies came out in record numbers to enjoy the 4th Annual Fall Free Family Fun Festival sponsored by the Mattapoisett’s Lion Club on October 19 held at Shipyard Park. Bruce Rocha of the club estimated attendance at over 400. Kids and adults alike enjoyed free face painting, bowling with pumpkins, a corn hole toss, snacks, hayrides to Ned’s Point and, yes, free pumpkins to take home. ‘Into Orbit’ Space Club377 views‘Into Orbit’ Space Club is currently running for the second year in a row. Students in grades 5 and 6 spend 12 weeks learning about robotics and coding, using First Lego League curriculum and EV3 robots, as well as participating in space-themed STEM challenges.

The rain couldn't dampen holiday spirits as visitors enjoyed delicious food and listened to Christmas music performed by the Showstoppers.
