Artists Summer Gallery 379 viewsThe Mattapoisett-area Artists Summer Gallery Exhibit will take place on weekends from July 3 to Labor Day. The exhibit will feature paintings, sculptures, photography and scrimshaw by well-known area artists, including sculptures by David Englund and oil paintings by Christine Bertram. Harbor Days Craze379 viewsThe town gazebo was the scene of another sultry Harbor Days this past weekend. Rows of vendors peddled their fun wares while visitors of all ages enjoyed music, conversation and the best strawberry shortcake in the world. Rochester Country Fair379 viewsRochester’s Country Fair was a great success despite the cancellation of the Town Ball Game, Woodsman Show, the Block dance and the Bonfire due to EEE. The weather was perfect on Saturday as children raced frogs, climbed walls, bounced in castles and much more. Although the weather was less than perfect on Sunday, residents lined the streets with lawn chairs and umbrellas to watch as the Hillbilly themed parade passed. Photos by Felix Perez.
