Welcome to the Camp483 viewsCarl Robideau, Director of Camp Massasoit at the Mattapoisett branch of the YMCA Southcoast, recently led a tour of the summer camp facility on April 21 to provide prospective parents with an overview of what the program has to offer. Camp Massasoit offers programs for children of all ages starting with their Scamper Camp program aimed at preschool aged children, 4 to 5 years of age, up to their Counselor-In-Training program for teenagers, 15 to 16 years of age. Souza, USA, will be the principal speaker for Mattapoisetts annual Veterans Day Ceremonies to be held on Tuesday, November 11 beginning at 11:00 am at Old Hammondtown School. Colonel Souza enlisted in the Massachusetts Army National Guard in 1983. She was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in August 1984 after graduating from the Massachusetts Military Academy.
