Celebrating the 4th503 viewsMarion's annual fireworks display attracted several thousand people to the town's Silvershell Beach Park on Friday evening July, 3. The Marion town band entertained the crowd until dusk when the night's big show lit up the sky's above Sippican Harbor. Hosted by the Mattapoisett Lions Club every year, the triathlon takes racers .25 miles from the shore of Town Beach and back, 10 miles bicycling through Mattapoisett, and 5K through the village around Ned’s Point Lighthouse.
