Marion Musical Melodrama1005 viewsCast members of the Marion Art Center’s (MAC) summer production of The Drunkard include (l. to r.) Kim Krasky as “Mary the Heroine,” Kevin Halligan as “Edward the Hero,” and Rex McGraw as “The Villain.” Based on an 1844 temperance play by W.H.S. Smith, the MAC version of the show is based on a later 1970s adaption penned by Bro Herrod with music and lyrics by Barry Manilow. ORR Athletic Phonathon1005 viewsThe ORR Athletic Booster Club (ORRABC) will hold their annual Phonathon Fundraiser from March 4 - March 20, 2008. Funds raised by the Booster Club have been used to enhance the school’s athletic facilities and to purchase equipment used by all of the teams. Last year the ORR Girls’ Track Team (pictured here) purchased a golf cart using their team funds raised through Booster Club calendar sales which is used by the school’s athletic trainer to respond to athletes in need of care.
