Shellfishing in Season1011 viewsHorace Field, Mattapoisett’s Assistant Harbormaster and Deputy Shellfish Warden, and his lab Bonnie enjoy an afternoon of quahogging along a Mattapoisett beach. As of October 15 you can also harvest scallops (through April 1). Quahogging can be done anytime with a shellfishing permit from the Mattapoisett Town Hall.
