Fifteen pieces coupled with art hanging on the gallery walls gave life to the spaces and included traditional flower-arranging techniques and imaginative fairy landscapes of tiny mosses. Blessing of the Fleet7 viewsThe Reverend Eric Fialho, rector at Saint Gabriel’s Parish, presided as the Town of Marion held its first-ever Blessing of the Fleet on January 1 in Sippican Harbor. One tradition well established the past half-dozen years was the sunflower in the outer harbor, where several vessels tied up to one another at the stern and aimed their bows outward toward the sea in 360-degree formation.
