Paca Run111 viewsSeptember 25 found animal lovers of all ages visiting alpaca farms throughout the region in a game called “Paca Run.” Mattapoisett’s Pine Meadows Farm participated in the event, which included five farms where folks could pick up playing cards. At the end of the two-day event coinciding with National Alpaca Farm Days, the best “Hand” won prizes. The Warriors earned their spot in the championship game with a big, 10-2 victory over the Heat, while the Knicks advanced to the title game, narrowly edging the Celtics, 10-8. After Class Enrichment 111 viewsPerforming arts and drama courses were offered as part of this year's After Class Enrichment (A.C.E.) sessions at Sippican Elementary School. Students combined painted glass and sand art, assisted by Tabor After School Community Service Volunteers, created clay handles for their vases as part of a collaborative project with the Marion Historical Society, participated in 3D printing, and worked on "Once Upon a Time" STEAM activities.
