Mattapoisett Historical Museum Photos189 viewsThe Mattapoisett Historical Museum is in possession of hundreds of photographs dating from the 1800s to as recently as the 1980s bearing images of people and places from Mattapoisett, but lacking identification. In their latest exhibit, the museum is asking the public to help solve the mystery each of the pictures represents. Each black and white or colorized image is a mini-mystery waiting to be solved. Classic Cars189 viewsClassic car enthusiasts from the area gathered Monday nights throughout the summer, riding up in their shiny antique cars and pulling up a lawn chair to sit back and reminisce about the good old days to the sounds of music from the ‘50s and ‘60s. Kohout, donated his 16 foot, mahogany, 1959 Canadian Mounty Police Wooden Cargo Canoe to Marion Boy Scout Troop 32/Cub Scout Pack 32 on Thursday September 11, 2014. The Scouts are honored to have such an amazing vessel offered to them and plan to use it in future outings. Pictured are Paul S. Children’s Librarian Rosemary Gray delighted five happy babies with some peekaboo, short stories such as Where is Baby’ Belly Button, and songs like the Itsy Bitsy Spider.
