Frosty Runner Road Race273 viewsRunners who participated in the third annual Frosty Runner Road Race enjoyed spring-like weather, perfect for a 10 mile or 3 mile run through the neighborhoods of Rochester. The two separate races were run simultaneously, beginning and ending at Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School on Saturday February 1. Bird Island Trip273 viewsMany many thanks to the Marion Harbormaster’s office, especially Isaac and Paul, for the wonderful trip the Marion Natural History Museum’s afterschool group took to Bird Island on May 6th. Isaac and Paul discussed a little of the history of the site and the ongoing importance of the the island for endangered terns populations. Once again, wonderful trip and we are very grateful.

Students chose an animal, did their own online research, created display boards, and donned costumes to bring their animals to life. The zoo continues on Friday, June 6 from 9:00-10:00 am.
