Marion Natural History Museum309 viewsThe Marion Natural History Museum afterschool group had a wonderful time learning about “Amazing Arthropods” with entomologist Blake Dinius of Plymouth County Extension Service. Members of the group were able to handle a couple of beautiful Io moths, which as caterpillars feed on maple leaves. The new addition is ready for final touches, and the old section of the building will undergo a renovation process over the next year during school vacations. On Wednesday mornings, seniors have gathered at the bowling lanes in Mattapoisett for some conversation and friendly competition.
