The program offers children ages 3-7 with intellectual and developmental disabilities opportunities to engage in physical activities vital to mental and physical growth. Spearheaded by Math teacher Tim Cleary and Tabor senior Molly Bent, sessions continue January 17 to March 6 (no session February 7) at 2:00 pm at the Fish Center for Athletics

Rochester Memorial Day197 viewsRochester fared far better with its Memorial Day celebration than Marion and Mattapoisett did with theirs on rainy Monday. Sunday, May 29, was a picture perfect day for a parade. Plumb Library197 viewsA new cupola complete with a copper covered roof and refurbished bronze and copper eagle weathervane now graces the roof of the Plumb Library in Rochester center. Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School carpentry shop students in partnership with Diversified Roofing Systems, New Bedford, owned by Richard Miranda, built the new cupola for the town.
