Alumni Basketball320 viewsThe Old Rochester Regional High School alumni and the ORR boys’ and girls’ basketball teams shared a couple of friendly games of basketball on March 29 during the 2nd annual Old Rochester Regional Hall of Fame Alumni Hoops Classic. “Q” and “U” 320 viewsDeborah Bacciocchi’s kindergarten class at RMS celebrated a wedding of “Q” and “U” on May 16. The bride (a wooden letter "Q") wore a gown sewn with pieces from Bacchiocchi’s wedding gown and the groom wore mixed media/Sharpie formalwear. Tour de Crème320 viewsThe Mattapoisett Land Trust in tandem with the Mattapoisett Bike Path Committee held its first Tour de Crème on Sunday, May 22. The fundraiser brought groups on three different courses – 13-, 25-, and 48-miles long – winding their way through area towns and making stops at various local ice cream parlors. Harbor Days 320 viewsHarbor Days came to Mattapoisett this past weekend, and many visitors were gracious enough to spin The Wanderer Wheel for a $1 donation to the Lions Club. Those who played helped raise an extra $523 the Lions Club will use to benefit the community.
