Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride 328 viewsIt was a windy ride for the 120 participants of the 9th Annual Buzzards Bay Watershed Ride on October 4. From Westport to Falmouth, cyclists rode either the 75-mile or 35-mile route to raise funds for the Buzzards Bay Coalition, bringing in nearly $90,000. First Congregational Church of Rochester328 viewsThe bell of the First Congregational Church of Rochester rang above the center of Rochester for the last time this morning, November 20, before it was lowered from the church’s belfry via crane to the ground, the final step of the renovation on the church. The historic bell, created in 1892 by an apprentice of Paul Revere III, grandson to our famous bell maker Paul Revere, will be refurbished and put in storage for some time before it is returned to the church. Christmas Wreath Sale 328 viewsTeam “Sole Survivor” held its annual Christmas wreath sale last weekend beginning on Black Friday, and they will continue to sell hand-decorated wreaths and crafts throughout this weekend while supplies last.
