The town appropriated $3.8 million for the new building, which replaces the old police station on Spring Street. Among those in attendance were Police Chief Lincoln Miller, the Marion police department, the Board of Selectmen, Town Administrator Paul Dawson, Plymouth County Sheriff Joseph McDonald and members of the Police Station Building Committee. Stars & Stripes Forever Musical Revue357 viewsThe Marion Art Center staged the “Stars & Stripes Forever Musical Revue” last weekend to packed crowds. The rousing show mimicked a USO event, with the audience being entertained as the “troops.” The production featured the “Swanson Sisters from Sheboygan: Dixie, Trixie & Pixie,” (played by Caroline Blaise, Pam Breton, and Denise Bastos) and was hosted by the hilariously funny “Frankie B. Sharpe” (played by Eric Bosworth). The MAC theatre was set up cabaret style, and guests brought their own refreshments.
