River Road Flood389 viewsA rainstorm on March 29 and 30 wreaked havoc on Massachusetts, leaving the Commonwealth in a state of emergency. The Hathaway Pond Dam in Rochester needed reinforcement with sandbags and the area of Plumb Corner and Dexter Lane became a makeshift pond. The Mattapoisett River overflowed its banks, shutting down River Road for a day. Photos by Tim Smith.
