ORR Class of 2020344 viewsLast October, the Old Rochester Regional Class of 2020 got together to “Celebrate Seniors.” How much has changed since that time? When the Class of 2020 gathers for its August 8 commencement, the 175 graduates will be safely-spaced in the bleachers, and their families will be spread out safely on the football field where the students are seen in this October photo. Tickets will be required for commencement, and due to coronavirus-related concerns, the number of attendees will be limited. Photo Bodil Perkins

Club member Roxanne Bungert spearheaded the effort after visiting Newport Rhode Island, where as many as one million bulbs have been planted over the years she attested. “We planted in several locations around town with the support and assistance of the Highway Department,” she said. Ned’s Point Sunset406 viewsOn a recent Ned’s Point evening, two young girls appear as silhouettes come to life while the setting sun floods the gloom in radiating shades of pink, yellow and orange. Low tide gave the evening travelers a footing on the rocky shore below the lighthouse. And, in the distance visited only by the human spirit, the hope of better days ahead was promised.
