Doonan, a Tabor Academy graduate, was a member of the United States Women's 8 rowing team, which finished out of the medal running by a mere 0.16 seconds in the July 29 medal race in the Tokyo Olympics. Tunnel Trouble133 viewsAn underground tunnel was recently discovered beside the Marion Town House running in the direction of the Elizabeth Taber Library. It was learned that the tunnel extends all the way to the front of Sippican Elementary School. Children preregistered for the event that raised upwards of $3,000 that will go to families affected by the loss of a first responder in the line of duty. During the summer months, Serene is moored in Mattapoisett Harbor when it's not working the waters off Martha’s Vineyard. Lobster fishing has been part of the New England way of life for decades.
