Stone Horse Builder's Cup302 viewsIn an exciting finish to the 2008 Stone Horse Builderís Cup Race sponsored by Edey and Duff of Mattapoisett, the top three Stone Horses were within two boat lengths with only a bow sprit, about 4 feet, separating the top two boats, WINDFALL and YOUNG AMERICA. WINDFALL, sailed by Tom Kenney of the New Bedford Yacht Club and Bob Jackson of Cohasset, took First Place, edging out Second Place finisher Bob Sachetti of Boston, who was single handing YOUNG AMERICA.

The Tigers recently captured the Massachusetts State Tournament championship of the Willie Mays Division (9- and 10-year-old players) of the American Amateur Baseball Congress and later placed third in the North Atlantic Regional Tournament held in Waldwick, N.J.
