Catapult to College

Jeff Costa, a Rochester resident and senior at Old Rochester Regional High School in Mattapoisett, recently won a $15,000 a year scholarship to study civil engineering at Merrimack College in North Andover, MA. Jeff is standing next to a homemade egg catapult he designed and built which beat out four other entrants at a competition on the Merrimack campus during the first annual ThinkFEST.
