Arts in Action
Sippican School First Grader Emily Hiller tries to create the lifelike ceramic fish from Grainger Pottery on display at the recent “Arts in Action” program held at the school. On May 13, the Marion school hosted its first “Arts in Action” show for members of the staff and local artists. Among other interesting and unique displays were Russian Egg painting, bird carving, mural painting, flip-flop sandal decorating and portrait sculpture.
