REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
OWNER'S PROJECT MANAGER (OPM) SERVICES FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE MARION POLICE STATION
In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sec. 44A_, and Chapter 193 of the Acts of 2004, the Public Construction Reform Law, the Town of Marion, by and through the Office of the Town Administrator, is seeking to retain the services of an Owner's Project Manager (OPM) to represent the Town's interests in managing the development and construction of the Town-approved construction of the Marion Police Station, to be located on Route 6, Marion, MA. The estimated construction cost is $3.011 million. Must have current license and registration by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an architect or professional engineer, with a minimum of five years experience in the construction and supervision of Public Safety Buildings, or if not licensed as described, then seven years supervisory experience in the construction of buildings of similar size and scope of complexity. The fee will be negotiated with the selected OPM. The RFP will be available after 11:00 AM on August 27, 2008 in the Office of the Board of Selectmen, Town House, 2 Spring Street, Marion, MA 02738, 508-748-3520. Proposals, sealed and clearly marked "Marion Police Station Construction Project, Response to RFP for OPM Services," are due no later than 11:00 AM on September 19, 2008 in the Town Administrator's Office, 2 Spring Street, Marion, MA 02738.
