Attendance at all Selectmen's Monday night meetings is mandatory. Starting salary is $19.51 per hour. The Board of Water and Sewer Commissioners for the Town of Mattapoisett, Massachusetts will receive sealed Bids for Contract No. 2015-01 Marion Road Water Main Rehabilitation, until 2:00 PM local time, on Tuesday July 14, 2015, at the Office of the Board of Water and Sewer Commissioners, 19 County Road, Mattapoisett, MA 02739, at which time and place all Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids submitted after this time will not be accepted.
The scope of work includes the installation of a class IV structural liner within approximately 4,000 feet of 6-inch diameter water main with 15 service connections along the north side of Marion Road (US Route 6), the installation of temporary bypass water main to provide water service during the installation process. The work also includes the restoration of pavement in accordance with specifications provided for in the MassDOT access permit.
Note: All potential bidders on this project must be pre-qualified by MassDOT to perform the types of work required by this contract, including but not limited to water work, pavement surfacing and pavement marking. Evidence of prequalification must be included with the bid submission. MassDOT requires filing at least 14 days prior to the bid opening.
