Mattapoisett Road Race Needs Members

The Mattapoisett Road Race Committee recently met to begin planning for the 40th Independence Day Road Race! This year’s race will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2010 to avoid conflict with Sunday church services.
Since its inception, over $100,000 in proceeds from the Race have been awarded to graduating seniors at ORR. Because this is our 40th year, the Committee is interested in collecting information and pictures that chronicle the history of the past 4 decades of Mattapoisett road races. We also welcome having interested people join the Committee to promote this worthy endeavor!
