• The Marion Garden Group will hold its annual Christmas Boutique on Saturday December 12, from 9:30 to 2:00 pm at the Marion Music Hall. The boutique features natural fresh greens arrangements, garlands and decorative items to brighten your home for the holiday. Many beautiful nature inspired gift items will also be for sale such as seashell ornaments, bird nest ornaments, starfish trees, scented soaps, decorative birdhouses, and naturally embellished picture frames. This year, live piano music from Gerald Lemay and delicious baked treats will also add to the holiday spirit.

The annual boutique funds the Marion Garden Groups efforts to seasonally maintain many of the business window boxes in Marion village, as well as the Post Office and Town Hall, and to support garden therapy at local nursing homes.

• The Marion Garden Group is seeking donations of floral arrangement containers for use at their annual Christmas Boutique in December. Donated containers may be dropped off at the Marion General Store through December 1.

• The Marion Garden Group is once again offering naturally decorated balsam wreaths for your home or business. This is an annual fundraiser and all profits from the sale of these fresh 12” wreaths will be used for the beautification of Marion. The Marion Garden Group designs, plants, and maintains the window boxes in the village. The wreath assembly workshop is December 1. All wreaths will be assembled and delivered that day.
